STW>> STW team

Iain Lober, DirectorIain
Iain is responsible for account management, finance, HR and marketing.

He has over 20 years experience in the software development and electronic industry. He has Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Electronics from RMIT.

Iain began Stuff That Works in 2000 in reaction to all the stuff that doesn't quite work.

He is a member of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) and ACS (Australian Computer Society).

Nathan Phelan, Technical ManagerNathan
Nathan keeps the Support Helpdesk humming away and schedules tasks for the techs. He's also STW's technical lead.

Nathan joined STW in 2001 while studying for an Advanced Diploma in Computer Systems Engineering at RMIT. Nathan is a Microsoft Certified Professional who loves a challenge.

Nathan has built PCs and servers from scratch and has much experience with backup, virus solutions, firewalls, email servers and is extremely competent with the installation of Microsoft's Small Business Server.

When Nathan's not taking his computer apart he becomes an outdoors person and enjoys mountain bike riding and wake boarding.

Mark Churchward, Business Manager
Mark looks after sales, purchasing account management and prepares and sends out invoices. But that's not all, he also plans projects and manage them to a successful outcome with no surprises.

Mark began in 2004. Mark is a Microsoft Certified Professional and has completed the Advanced Diploma of Computer Systems Engineering at Box Hill TAFE.

Mark is a family man now and so playing squash and importing cars from Japan are now a distant memory.

Steven Briggs
Steven joined STW in February 2003. He has a Bachelor of Engineering (Software Systems) from RMIT and is a Microsoft Certified Professional. Steven tackles problems with a logical attitude.

Steven has worked on desktops and servers, removed viruses, installed firewalls and provides IT support on-site or via the phone or online as needed. He has even tackled networking a Mac (don't tell anyone!) with a Microsoft Small Business server and PC office.

When Steven's not hanging out with his computer, or destroying old hard-drives, he likes cars, fixing cars, painting cars green, dyeing his hair ... blue!?

Oliver Challinger
Oliver began at STW in 2006. He has a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Monash University.

Oliver likes playing musical instruments (any he can get his hands on), and playing indoor soccer in his spare time.
